*For the 97-99 2.5L two additional holes will need to be drilled on the top muffler bracket, very small and easy mod, instructions on where to make the two holes are included.

Finally a Performance Muffler for the Boxster 986 with no Cabin Drone, unlike most aftermarket Mufflers for the Boxster the NHP Exhaust Muffler for the Boxster eliminates Cabin Drone and gives you a beautiful Sports Sound, constructed of high quality T304 Stainless Steel this muffler is a straight through pipe design, there are no internal baffles, this muffler was designed to fit without any modifications on the 2.7L and 3.2L Boxster, on the 2.5L only two holes need to be drilled on our muffler bracket to fit it.

This design is very similar to a previous version we offered, but major changes have been brought to it, we loved the previous design because of the great fit and weigh savings but we changed the internals, bigger muffler cans, thicker gauge stainless steel nicer tips etc.... all these changes combined makes it a perfect muffler for the Boxster.

Twin 3 inch exhaust tips that are designed with an angle towards the inside of the tips resulting in that exotic look, the muffler cans are protected with two beautiful heat shields that will protect your mufflers and obviously give this muffler a killer look, these grills can be seen in the rear of the Boxster and it only adds to the beauty of this Car.

This Muffler is constructed with a super heavy duty 3mm thick gauge bracket that will sustain the vibrations from the Muffler, additionally two “OEM Style” brackets that can optionally be used to secure the muffler to the catalytic converter pipes just like the factory setup.

Muffler Weight is 22lbs the stock muffler weighs 36lbs there is a 14lbs weight reduction.

The sound at idle is very nice just a little growl nothing annoying, when you step on it that's when you get a superb sound. We invite you to review the video below.
