Brand New NHP Exhaust Racing Headers "Catless". Made of T304 thick gauge Polished Stainless Steel and STainless Steel Flange, these are direct replacement no modifications needed. We used same concept as our 996/997 Twin Turbo headers, which means equal lenght piping that merge in a racing merge collector for the smoothest flow possible, both O2 sensor bungs are there so you can re-install the factory O2 sensors, the primary pipes are mandrel bent and have a 45mm diameter and the secondary pipe is 55mm diameter, the stock primary pipes are 41mm our headers have primary pipes that are 10% larger and flow more exhaust.

These headers are meant for racing, they are catless, no catalytic converters are present, your 987 or Cayman comes stock with 4 Catalytic Converters, two on the headers and two on the mufflers, the O2 sensors take the reading from the primary headers, when the NHP Catless headers are installed you will most probably encounter the infamous Check Engine Light indicating errors related to the catalytic converters.

Most manufacturer's of aftermarket exhaust for the 987/Cayman delete the secondary catalytic converters from the mufflers so you get to keep the stock headers with catalytic converters, the deletion of secondary cats cannot trigger any C.E.L since that the O2 sensors take the reading from the primary catalytic converters, but we strongly believe that catless headers and keeping the secondary catalytic converters is a better setup in terms of performance, the exhaust that comes out of the engine flows much better with catless headers, but you must remember that these are not emission compliant they are meant for racing.

These Headers combined with our cat-back exhaust sounds great and performs great.

When you install these headers regardless of the mufflers used meaning stock or aftermarket you will get btter sounding exhaust approx 5 to 10dB more. We have not performed baseline dyno and after dyno but we strongly believe that these headers should give you 5 to 8 HP's at the wheels

Gaskets are included, but we suggest you re-use the original steel gaskets, we always re-use original gaskets on local installation, they are made of steel and are rarely damaged.
