Brand New, just arrived, this is a reclining version of our popular Carbon Fiber GT3 Replica Bucket Seats, after selling many of the Bucket Version many have asked for a sport seat that can be used as daily driving and for track days as well, these seats are the answer. These will fit Plug N Play on the Boxster 987 and 987, Cayman and all 996 and 997 Models, for all other models please inquire. If you're looking for a great sports seat and a killer look these are the seats you should consider, they currently come in two versions only, in Genuine Black Leather and in synthetic suede or alcantara look, the shell of the seat or if you'd like the frame is made of Carbon Fiber, the seat is very solid and very well made. The backrest reclines via a lower handle located at the bottom rear of the seat, the back rest is also adjustable via a side knob, and the seats go back and forward via a lower pull handle underneath the seat in the front area. These seats will come included with the track assembly, which means that these are plug n play for your Porsche 986/987/Cayman/ 996/997, all that's required is to drill two holes on the bottom seat brackets on the seat and not in your car, again on the seat, instructions will show you how to. These seats wrap your body like a glove, they are very comfortable considering that they are racing sport seats.

To help you take a decision, we understand that it's difficult to be 100% sure that these are the correct seats for you, there are a few factors you must consider before purchasing these seats. Because of the bottom bolsters you will have to raise your leg to come off the seat, you can't just slide out like with the factory seats, you are constantly and feel like you're in a racing car basically racing mode at all times but acceptable for daily driving. Personally on a driver's point of view I will never go back to stock, once you get used to the seats and you are a performance geared person you can't go back to stock the stock seats just won't cut it.

Shipping

The shipping charge for these seats is on the expensive side simply because the box is oversized, each seat ships in one box and the UPS Ground Shipping charge will be minimum $150 and can easily got to $250 depending on your zip code or postal code if in Canada, therefore the shipping is to be determined it all depends on your location. For International Orders we can only ship these via AIR CARGO to closest airport shipping charges anywhere between $400 and $700 depending on location.

We can dramatically reduce shipping costs if we spilt the back rest from the bottom of the seat and ship these in smaller boxes this can probably save you approx 50% of the shipping costs, if you are comfortable in assembling the back rest on the bottom seat this can be a low cost shipping solution, instructions will be provided on how to assemble.

Returns

We will not accept any returns for any reasons other than defective seats, not as described i.e. wrong color, defect in leather etc... any other reasons we will not take any returns, the main reasons for this is the high cost of shipping, risk of damage when bounced around multiple times by shipping companies, and our cost to actually stock these seats to make them available to our customers.

FAQ's

Q- Is the height adjustable?
A- No, you can only go back and forward and recline the back rest, there is nothing electric, these are manual seats.

Q- What about the factory seatbelt can I re-use it?
A- Yes you get to keep the factory setup, you will need to transfer the seatbelt receptacle form your original seats to these seats, the instructions will show you how to do so.

Q- I'm tall, above average will I fit?
A- The difference between these and factory seats on a 986/996/997 is not on the back rest the back rest is approx the same size in width that's 18-19 inches but it's on the lower seat these GT3 Reclining seats are 16 inches wide basically between both lower bolsters its 16 inches where the factory ones are again approx 18-19 inches, so there is a 2-3 inch difference. Lastly with these GT3 seats you will sit approx 2 inches lower than the original seats.

Q- How much do they weigh?
A- One seat weighs 35 lbs with the track assembly installed. There is a 25 to 35 lbs savings depending on the configuration of your factory seat.

Q- Can I get these in another color other than the ones you offer?
A- Currently we only sell the ones we stock there are too many different shades of leather and we can't match 100% so for now we are only offering these in Black. These are not a mass production item these are made depending on the quantity we make that is another reason as to why we only offer what we have in stock and we don't take any special orders at this time.

Q- Can I get the seatbelt hole trims in another color?
A- No these come in black only and we don't offer any painting services.

Q- Can I install these myself?
A- It is not a difficult Installation we rate it a 4/10, but if you have no mechanical experience whatsoever please get them installed by a professional.

Q- Is there a warranty included?
A- Yes a 1-Year warranty against any manufacturers defect is included.

Q- Have these been crash tested?
A- These have not been crash tested by any 3rd party, we strongly believe that these seats are very solid and of high quality, we only use high grade Steel hardware to assemble the components of these seats. We cannot make any claims as to what extent these can resist impact but again we have no reason to believe that these will jeopardize your safety.
