Sales Tax/Shipping/Prices for Canadian Customers

For Canadian Customers. We are a Canadian based company, by law we must collect Canadian Sales tax. Sales tax is applicable to all purchases made through this website. For Quebec residents a 5% GST and 7.5% PST sales tax, NOVA SCOTIA, NEW BRUNSWICK, NEWFOUDLAND & LABRADOR : 13% HST for the rest of Canada 5% GST .

All of our prices on this website are based in USD Currency, all paypal payments, credit card payments are charged in USD Currency, our merchant terminal for Visa/Mastercard only charges in USD Currency. Regardless of the rate we always charge in USD, this allows Canadians to pay fair pricing or equal pricing as US buyers regardless of the rate.

Why do we charge in USD Currency? First all our products are purchased in USD Currency, we cannot adjust pricing for Canadian Dollars every single day, the currency fluctuates too much, this is fair play unlike many other companies that take advantage of strong Canadian Currency and don't adjust prices lower, so we buy in USD you pay in USD, this way you don't pay more if you're Canadian. Secondly our market is 90% in the USA and International and we must adopt USD Currency.

For Canadian Buyers we ship from Montreal, Canada so there's no duties or brokerage fees to pay. When we charge you the shipping price the exchange rate is taken into account.

I also want to clarify how to figure out your cost when converting in Canadian Dollars, this goes for individuals and for companies (resellers) that file GST/PST reports.

If you buy a part for $99.99 we add the shipping fee say of $8.00, the total would be $107.99 we then add the 5% GST $5.40 your total would be $113.39 USD , to convert to Canadian Dollars you need to take the days rate say 1.075 so your total in Canadian Dollars would be $113.39 USD x 1.075 Exchange Rate = $121.89 Canadian Dollars.
