NHP Exhaust Cat-Bypass Pipes for the Porsche 997 Generation 1 (05-08) , these will fit all 997.1 Models C2, C2S, C4, C4S. If you wanted a cheap upgrade for sound and HP Gains these bypass pipes do the trick, you will improve the sound of your exhaust and get some HP gains, typically cat-bypass pipes with get you an additional 10 HP. The factory catalytic Converters are very restrictive and if there’s one place you should start working on when improving the exhaust system it is the catalytic converters that require the most attention. The NHP 997 Cat-Bypass Pipes fit like a glove, they mount like the originals and O2 sensors fit perfectly like the originals.
These Cat-Bypass pipes offer a nice 6 lbs weight reduction as follow:
OEM Cat-Pipes: 14.4 lbs (L+R)
NHP Cat-Bypass Pipes: 8.4 lbs (L+R)
They are made of Stainless Steel and will last you a lifetime, don't pay more elsewhere get the best here.
Gaskets and Hardware included.
OPTIONAL, if your factory sleeve clamps that connect the catalytic converters to the mufflers appear to be very rusted and may need replacement take a look at our sleeve clamps. They are made of Stainless Steel and will last you a lifetime, don't pay more elsewhere get the best here.
